Three Kentucky State University students had research abstracts accepted to be presented this summer during the National Strength and Conditioning Association’s national conference.
Amani N. Williams and Adren Thompson partnered on an abstract titled, “Physical fitness and anthropometric correlates for three baseball skill drills in 32 male Division II baseball players.”
Mikalah Ellis’ abstract is titled “Relationship between preseason fitness testing and playing time among a women’s Division II basketball team.”
Aram T. Kumar’s abstract is titled “The immediate impact that a certified strength and conditioning specialist makes on an NCAA Division II football program.”
All four students were mentored by Dr. Jason M. Keeler, assistant professor of physical education.
