Tuscaloosa, Alabama – Shelton State Community College Athletics will host the Alabama Community College Conference (ACCC) Championship Tournament March 3-6 in the Martin Campus Gymnasium. This is the first of three consecutive years that the College will host the tournament.
“We couldn’t be more excited about hosting the ACCC tournament for the next three years,” said Cara Crosslin, Shelton State’s Athletic Director. “An enormous amount of planning has gone into ensuring a great time for our guests. We can’t wait to share this beautiful campus with basketball fans from all over the state.”
All games are open to the public, and ticket prices vary. General admission tickets are $12 per day. Alabama Community College System students with a current and valid I.D. will receive $6 tickets per day. Veterans will also be charged a $6 ticket price. Children 10 and under may attend for free. All tickets will be available at the door. T-shirts and programs will also be available at the event for $10 each.
“The ACCC looks forward to coming to Tuscaloosa and Shelton State for the ACCC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Tournament,” stated Dean Myrick, ACCC Commissioner. “This Tournament will be a great showcase of ACCC basketball and an all-around first-class event. The support of President Ashley and Athletic Director Cara Crosslin has been tremendous, and I look forward to working with Cara and her staff.”
